Terms of Agreement
Welcome! These Terms of Agreement (“Agreement”) govern your use of all services, programs, courses, sessions, and digital offerings provided by Angela Pope and the intuitive somatics institute, llc (“ISI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a Georgia-based independent somatics/energy practice with an international community. By using our services, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
Our services include somatic, intuitive, and energy-based support, delivered via video (Zoom), audio, written and live sessions. All services provided are for informational and self-development purposes only. We do not provide diagnosis, therapy, or medical treatment of any kind. You acknowledge and agree that all decisions made based on our services are your own responsibility.
None of the services offered constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, or counseling advice or diagnosis. For any medical or mental health concerns, or in case of emergency, consult a licensed healthcare professional or emergency services promptly. You acknowledge that you must not disregard or delay seeking medical advice based on anything you encounter through the intuitive somatics institute, llc.
What We Collect
We may collect and store the following personal information:
Name, contact information (email, phone, address)
Health-related information you voluntarily provide
Audio or video recordings of your sessions (with notice)
Information about your session usage and digital interactions
How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used to deliver services, personalize your experience, support your progress, and maintain business records. Data may be used for quality improvement and internal training purposes.
International Clients & Data Transfers
By using our services, including from outside the USA, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in the United States. If you are based in the EU, UK, Canada or other regions, your privacy rights may include data access, correction, erasure, or restriction of processing, in line with GDPR or local privacy rules. Use of Third Parties (Zoom)
Sessions and recordings may be conducted using Zoom. By participating, you consent to Zoom’s privacy policies and data processing practices. We recommend consulting Zoom’s terms for more information.
Confidentiality
Your identity, health information, and session details are confidential except as required by law. We will not share information except:
With your explicit consent
As necessary to deliver services (e.g., through Zoom)
If required by law or to prevent imminent harm
Data Security
We use industry-standard digital safeguards to protect your information, but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted online.
Retention and Deletion
We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill service or legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Privacy of Minors (Under 18)
If under 18, services may be provided only with parental/legal guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without prior verifiable consent. Parents can access, edit, or request deletion of a minor’s information at any time in accordance with state and federal law (including COPPA and Georgia’s Protecting Children Online Act).
All sales are final. No refunds for services, courses, or digital products. Once a program is purchased and access granted, you must pay the full program price and your access cannot be cancelled or reversed. Please read program details carefully before purchase. Cancellations for memberships, such as the BodyMagic Membership, must be made at least 10 days before your next billing date. There are no refunds for subscriptions billed when cancelled outside of that timeframe.
All written materials, recordings, methods, and content created by Angela Pope and the intuitive somatics institute, llc, including session materials and digital resources, are the exclusive intellectual property of Angela Pope and the intuitive somatics institute, llc. Clients may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works from any content without explicit written permission.
Use services for lawful personal development only; do not misuse or resell.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account or during your sessions.
Your conduct must not harass, abuse, or threaten others or ISI staff.
ISI reserves the right to terminate access for any breach or inappropriate conduct without refund.
To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, you expressly agree:
You assume all risks associated with use of ISI services.
In no event shall Angela Pope, ISI, or its employees/representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of services, regardless of cause.
You agree not to bring any claim, suit or proceeding except as required by law, and release ISI from all liability to the extent possible under Georgia law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, regardless of where services are accessed.
Any disputes will be resolved amicably if possible; otherwise, they will be brought exclusively in competent courts located in Georgia.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
ISI may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be updated on our website and, for registered users, email notice will be provided.
